About Artist
Driven by emotion and always searching for silver linings, I have managed to build an art practice around family life. My goal is to allow my work to tell stories that reflect my personal experiences and to make an authentic connection with art lovers.
I’m an emerging artist based in Sydney, on Cammeraygal Country. I have always followed a creative path… Visual Arts was my strongest subject at school, I hold a Bachelor of Creative Arts/Law and have worked as a web designer, graphic designer and illustrator.
Looking ahead, my goal is to continue to find purpose in my work and to carve out my own unique path.
Artist Statement
We all have something we aspire to be, hopes for our future not yet realised. With all good dreams, there is hard work to be done to realise them. In this painting, the deflated balloons are our efforts. We push towards the sky and its silver lining and we struggle to break through our own glass ceiling. It’s beginning to shatter and we’re so close to making the intangible tangible.
